Description: Nisa is a colorless female with golden eyes brimming with blue. Her wings are tipped with a deep black.
Type of owl: Snowy Owl (Type of owl CAN live in Illinois but rare)

Nisa looked around quietly as she sat on her tree branch just outside her hollow. She looked around. Hmm, She thought, Nice place. She silently lifted her wings and flew off, In search of a hunt.

Discription: White, heart shaped face with wings and back ranging in different brown and black markings and denser spotting than most of his species with round, black eyes and a pale,off-white hooked beak.

Lyle opened his black eyes, the light of the dusk sky filling his large, spacious hollow in the towering Oak he called home. He stood up, ruffling his brown-and-black feathers. He gave his wings a pump, hopping out of his thickly bounded nest of twigs and plants and onto the hollow's floor. He peered out of the crooked, lopsided hole in the wall that led to the outside world, a brisk night wind washing over his white face. Fluffing his feathers out against the chill, he hopped out of the hole, landing on the "run way" under the entrance, which was really just a thick branch that was excelent for landing on. He strode over the edge, dropping down and spreading his large wings before hurtling to the ground, and swerved out of the branches of his home, the winds carrying him off for a morning hunt.

Nisa saw a barn owl hunting and swooped down catching a mouse, Holding it in her powerful talons, and flew over to the Barn Owl. "Hi."

Lyle fluttered down, resting on the branch of a young Ash tree when a flutter of white at the edge of his vision caught his eye. He turned his head, surprised to see a Snowy Owl, which were rare in these parts of Illinois, flying in his direction, a plump mouse clutched in her talons. "Greeting," he called to her when she was in ear shot. "I'm Lyle, and you are?"

"Nisa is my name. Hungry?" She gestured the mouse towards Lyle, er large eyes sparking with questioning.

Lyle glanced down at the plump mouse as Nisa acknowledged it. "No thank you, I can certainly catch something in this forest," she said, giving it a nudge back to the Snowy with one of his long, hooked talons.

Nisa chuckled slightly. "The forest is full of critters to eat. Alright." She tilted her head and her flapped her powerful wings, "Are you new around here?"
